My heart has been in it from the start.

Book-Cover-2

A remarkable journey.

Tech entrepreneur Steve Larsen explores the threads he’s woven together to create an extraordinary life: family bonds lost and found, a pioneering career in Silicon Valley, a lifelong search for meaning, a passion for speed and adventure and a remarkable resilience through health battles that would have stopped most people cold.

My first impression when I finished Steve’s book was that it was not only technically detailed, but entertaining, inspirational and motivational. I thought that if someone’s life feels like it is in neutral, reading this story might just kick you into overdrive. You don’t need to be the kind of person who loves the thrill of adventure on the back of a motorcycle, or in the seat of a cool car to gain some self-awareness and to look farther down the road. Steve’s personal stories are gripping, and how he landed on his feet time after time is inspirational. The technical parts of the book and his experiences with cars and motorcycles will delight any aficionado. I have known Steve a long time and we have ridden thousands of miles together and reading this book is just how he sounds. It’s in his own voice. What you learn is that he is knowledgeable, thoughtful, spiritual, humorous and emotional all wrapped up in one great big story that kept my attention all the way to the end.

One of the best memoirs I’ve read in years

I had no idea what to expect when I picked up this book, but I was hooked from page one. Steve Larsen’s writing is honest, engaging, and full of life lessons that hit home. His journey from Silicon Valley to motorcycle racing to surviving serious health scares is nothing short of jaw-dropping. But what makes this book truly special is his ability to reflect on these experiences with wisdom and humor. I walked away feeling inspired to take more risks and embrace life’s challenges head-on.

A Testament to Living Fully

Steve Larsen has packed more into one lifetime than most of us could in ten. His ability to push forward, no matter the circumstances, is nothing short of remarkable. This book isn’t just about wild adventures or business success—it’s about the deep human need for connection and meaning. His writing is warm, reflective, and deeply personal. A must-read for anyone who wants to make the most of their own journey.

If you are looking for inspiration, this one is a must-read

I picked up this book because I love memoirs, but I didn’t expect it to hit me this hard. Steve Larsen’s journey is a reminder that life is unpredictable, messy, and beautiful all at the same time. He’s been through so much, yet his attitude remains adventurous and positive. His reflections on resilience, family, and passion made me think a lot about my own choices. The writing is down-to-earth and honest, making it easy to connect with. If you’re looking for a book that will push you to live life more fully, this is it!

The Road of Life - Steve Larson's

Steve Larson said he wanted to leave a legacy for his family with this book, a goal which I believe he's achieved. Along the written road through the text he's added a few tips he's picked up through his life. Steve and I have traveled over some of the same roads in life (like heart problems), crawling up corporate ladders and some motorcycling. We've done them differently. It was interesting to see how we both managed, especially getting over some of the bumps on the Road of Life. Plus, as of this writing, we're both still here.

My approach has always been to dive deep, whether it's mastering a challenging mountain road or solving complex technological problems. Through triumphs and trials, I've discovered that authenticity and resilience are the engines that drive meaningful achievement.
